This international award winning white wine originates from the ancient vineyard ‘Vigna Bragagna’ in the heart of Lugana. The harmonic fullness of this wine is determined by the Turbiana grapes, the exceptionally old vines and the clay based soil in which they grow.

 

Fresh, fruity and full bodied with a slightly bitter almond aftertaste. This Lugana is particular from all others. It proudly displays the name Sirimone on the label and the Avanzi Lugana is the only winery authorized to do so according to Italian law, due to the fact that the grapes originate from the unique soil of Avanzi’s ‘Vigna Bragagna’.

The Avanzi family have been producing high quality, multi award winning wines from the sunny southwest shores of Lake Garda since 1931. The strong relationship between the land and the family led to the creation of the family business. The founder, Giovanni Avanzi, handed the family business down to his sons, Gianpietro and Alessandro, and grandchildren, who are keeping the tradition alive with the same passionate spirit, devotion, loving care and quality that have become synonymous with the name Avanzi.

 

Avanzi proudly offers wines identified with the denomination DOC which guarantees their source of origin. Each category of wine is produced with passion and loving care: Lugana DOC, Garda Classico DOC and Valtènesi DOC which are the base of the 17 DOC Avanzi wines.
