Erbavoglio DOC (Erbaluce) 6 x 75cl

Made with 100% “Autochthonous single grape variety as specified for DOC wines”. It is considered the “the most red of white wines” as it has flavours of particular strength and intensity. Fruity, fragrant, with lemon verbena hints Fresh-tasting and pleasant, dry, sapid, slightly acidic with a soft mouth-filling finish.

Torraccia of Piantavigna started in the early 1850’s from a small vineyard planted by Peter Piantavigna. They are situated in Ghemme, in Upper Piedmont, at the foot of Monte Rosa, one of the most emblematic Italian mountains.

 

Today they have an area of 38 hectares planted with native grapes of great tradition in the region such as Nebbiolo and Erbaluce. The company produces high quality wines, among which stand out in excellence, the Ghemme and the Gattinara DOCG.

 

Torraccia del Piantavigna wines have been the subject of numerous awards and prizes over the years. A blend of tradition and innovation, applied in the vineyards and in the cellar, results in wines of great calibre.
