Barbera d’Alba DOC 6 x 75cl

A long-lasting wine maintaining the fresh colour of its variety: full-bodied, intense ruby red colour with garnet nuances and harmonious tannins. It reminds of black cherries, raspberries, candied apple, white pepper, prunes and tobacco.

The Piedmontese family company was founded in 1863 by Nicolao Manfredi. The fourth generation of Manfredi is currently managing and marketing the winery. Not only the demands, but also the tastes of consumers have changed over the decades. These changes have brought about a new style of today's wines, which could only be achieved through a consistent rethinking of cellar technology and viticulture, which the Manfredis mastered in an exemplary manner.

 

The winery is known for its two lines Umberto Fiore and Castelvecchio. They combine the classic red wines of Piedmont. Careful selection of grapes and the highest technical requirements during the harvest and in the winemaking guarantee wines of consistently good quality.
